The Research Training Group "The Economic Impact of Digital Transformation" offers a position for a 
student/research assistant with up to 40h/per month. 

The graduate program "The Economic Impact of Digital Transformation" (GKdigital) is an interdisciplinary doctoral program at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. It is part of the "Schumpeter Center for the Study of Social and Economic Change (JSEC)". We offer a comprehensive education at PhD level. The program is internationally oriented and committed to quality in teaching and research.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, geography, communication sciences, sociology or related subjects.
  • Good knowledge of common MS Office programs (MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g. Stata, R, SPSS, MAXQDA) is not a must, but an advantage
  • Independent and coordinated work
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Ability to work in a team, creativity and strong communication skills 

Tasks:

  • Research activities in several research projects related to digital transformation.
  • Documentation and preparation of qualitative as well as quantitative data
  • Support and design of presentations
  • Organization and implementation of events, especially the Summer School in July
  • Editorial assistance
